Hello, I’m Rob Barklamb. I’m 60 years old and I live in Leeds, a medium sized city in the north of England.
I have reached a stage in life when I want to write more. It’s something I think I used to be quite good at and so I’d like to start writing for pleasure again.
I love the arts and so I have decided to write a blog where I review and opine on them. I don’t want the site to be overly intellectual or academic – just a site where regular bloke (I think!) shoes his thoughts on film, books, music, gigs, theatre, comedy and the visual arts.
The quest, ultimately, is to try and express if something is any good. Is it worth the average punter’s time and money.
In doing so I hope to find some readers with whom the site resonates.
